Pemanfaatan Media Sosial Instagram @Polres_Jakbar dalam Meningkatkan Citra Kepolisian

Abstrak

The development of digital communication technology has encouraged government institutions to utilize social media as a medium for public information dissemination. Instagram is widely used because it can present information quickly and attractively. This study aims to analyze the utilization of Instagram @polres_jakbar as a publication medium in improving the image of the West Jakarta Metro Police. This research used a qualitative descriptive method with a post-positivism paradigm. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that the Instagram account @polres_jakbar has been effectively utilized to disseminate information regarding police activities, public services, and security education. Informative and visual content supports faster and broader information dissemination to the public. In addition, the use of Instagram contributes to building a positive image of the West Jakarta Metro Police in the digital era.
